04 How we use your information
- To provide our services: supply, install, calibrate and maintain equipment, and operate the monitoring platform.
- To send alerts and service notifications: notify the people you choose when a sensor reading leaves its configured range, and send reports, status updates and account notices.
- To verify identity: send one-time verification codes when you sign in or confirm an action.
- To answer enquiries: reply to questions, prepare quotes and provide support.
- To run our business: invoicing, record keeping, and meeting legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
- To keep things secure and working: detect misuse, troubleshoot errors and improve reliability.
We process information because it is needed to perform our contract with you or your organisation, because you have given consent (for example, to receive WhatsApp messages), because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our services, or because the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
05 WhatsApp messaging
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), provided by Meta Platforms, to send messages from our verified business number. We may also use a messaging service provider that connects our systems to the WhatsApp Business Platform on our behalf.
Messages we send
- Alerts: notifications when a monitored reading crosses its limit, and when it returns to normal.
- Service notifications: reports, device status updates, links to documents, and replies about your orders or enquiries.
- Verification codes: one-time codes for signing in or confirming actions.
We do not send marketing or promotional messages over WhatsApp unless you have separately agreed to receive them.
Your consent (opt-in)
We only message WhatsApp numbers that have agreed to receive messages from Perfect Control, for example when you or your organisation’s administrator add your number as an alert recipient on the platform, when you tick the consent box on our contact form, or when you message us first. We keep a record of that consent.
Stopping messages (opt-out)
You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by:
- replying to any of our WhatsApp messages and asking us to stop;
- removing your number from alert recipients in your platform notification settings, or asking your administrator to do so;
- contacting us at noreply@monitoring-pc.com or +962 78 826 5341.
If you opt out of alerts, please make sure someone else at your organisation still receives them.
What Meta receives
To deliver a message, Meta processes your WhatsApp phone number, the message content and delivery information (sent, delivered, read or failed). Meta handles this information under its own terms and policies, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. We store message records and delivery status so we can confirm that alerts reached the right people.
Our WhatsApp messages come from the business number +962 78 826 5341 with the name Perfect Control. We will never ask you for passwords or payment card details over WhatsApp.
07 International transfers
Some of our providers, including Meta, may process information on servers outside Jordan. When this happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect personal information, in line with applicable law.
08 Data retention
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that don’t lead to a contract | Up to 12 months after our last contact |
| Platform accounts and sensor data | While your organisation’s subscription is active, then up to 90 days unless a longer period is agreed for compliance records |
| WhatsApp message and delivery records | Up to 12 months, or longer if your organisation needs alert history for audits |
| Verification codes | Expire within minutes; logs are kept up to 30 days |
| Invoices and business records | As long as required by Jordanian tax and commercial law |
09 Security
We protect information with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls based on roles, secure storage of credentials and access tokens, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by law.
10 Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to or ask us to restrict certain processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example to WhatsApp messages, without affecting earlier processing;
- complain to the competent data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 15. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within 30 days.
11 Data deletion
You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time, including your WhatsApp number and message history. Step-by-step instructions are on our data deletion page.
13 Children
Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
14 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will let you know through the platform or by email before it takes effect.
